What are the infrared?

18/10/2012

Infrared rays were discovered in 1800 by the phyysicist William Herschel. He put a mercury thermometer in the spectrum produced by a glass prism in order to measure the heat of the various bands of colored light. He noted that the temperature of the thermometer continued to climb even after moving beyond the red end of the spectrum where there was no visible light.

This was the first experiment documenting how the heat: could be transmitted by an invisible form of light.

After dscovering the infrared rays, many researchers and scientists continued to study its characteristics and effects and they documented the multiple benefits on humans.

Sun has always been our natural supplier of infrared energy (heat) and without it living being could not survive on earth. The radiant energy of infrared rays (FIR) is a form of energy that heats objects directly without heating the surrounding air by a process called \"Conversion\".

The far infrared rays (FIR) are a wavelength of sunlight. The infrared electromagnetic spectrum is divided into three infrared wavelengths measured in Microns.

1 micron =             1,\'1.000.000 m

Near infrared:         0.76 — 1.5 micron

Medium infrared:       1.5 — 5.6 micron

Far infrared:          5.6 — :1.0 micron

We conclude that infrared rays simply heat and they have nothing to do with ultraviolet rays (tanning) very bad far skin.

The application areas of healthy infrared rays are several, and its beneficial effects is also shown by the fact that they are used even in the hospital nursery incubators to warm babies.

\"FIR\" (far infrared rays) Effects

Strengthen the immune system

Burn calories

Increase metabolic efficiency

Promote weight loss

Facilitate the eliminatìon of toxins

Fight against cellulite

Rejuvenate, purify and make the skin more elastic

Reduce stress, fatigue and insomnia
